ReminderBridge keeps asking me for Google authentication and gets stuck there

Hello,
First of all, thank you for this application. I’ve been looking for a solution to sync my Google Tasks with Apple Reminders for ages.

I bought the application, but I can’t get it to work.

I have a MacBook Pro M4 with Tahoe 26.0.1.

First, when I launch ReminderBridge, it asks me for my “session” keychain password. I enter the password I use to open my keychain, which is the same one I use to unlock my computer. I don’t understand why, but it asks me for this password three times in a row… Then I get to the Google authentication window. Once I authorize the ReminderBridge application, I’m immediately taken back to the “sign in” page with Google in ReminderBridge.

So I can’t get any further.

Thanks for giving RB a run. That is an issue I have not experienced, but I would first check app permissions (AppleScript and Reminders). I will spend some time trying to reproduce this scenario and get back to you.

I doubt there is any corruption in the container since you are working on a fresh install, but there is always a fresh install just in case:

* Uninstall ReminderBridge and make sure this folder(~/Library/Containers/aeriform.ReminderBridge) and its contents are gone. You may have to empty the trash.

* Reinstall from the App Store and you now have a “clean install”.

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked the permissions (AppleScript and Reminders). I think I checked them correctly, but I’m not sure where to check the AppleScript permissions. A tutorial on these permissions would be very helpful.

Anyway, after restarting my Mac, I was able to get RB working.

Thanks a lot!
